Affirmation of Faith

We are convinced that all our beliefs (without exception) are based on rational evidence, therefore Christianity is a reasonable and defendable Faith.

We do not believe in, or promote any form of blind faith.

The list below is not representing the entirety of our Theological beliefs but is only a general presentation for the purpose of transparency to the public. All our teachings are to be in harmony with this affirmation of Faith.

The Word of God

We believe that the 66 books of the Bible known as the Old and the New Testament are the Words of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. There are no other books or manuscripts or prophetic writings with divine authority that could add to the 66 books of the Bible.

The Holy Trinity

We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, that these are equal in every divine perfection, and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption.

God the Father

We believe in God the Father, an infinite personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of each person, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through His Son Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ
(Yahshua)

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to earth. We believe that during His life on Earth, He was completely a human voluntarily stripped from all His Divine powers. The miracles He performed were done by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and the Son to convict Christians of sin and incline them toward righteousness, and gradually move them toward a Christ-like Character and the state of Glorification (Sanctification). We believe that the Holy Spirit first Regenerates the elect of God (the new birth), then gives them the Faith required to repent and freely choose Christ as their Savior. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide who interprets the Words of God for the Elect.

Regeneration

We believe that all people are sinners by nature and therefore, under condemnation. We believe that man in his fallen state is spiritually dead and not inclined toward God or the repentance from sin or to any saving faith in Christ, until the Holy Spirit in His appointed time quickens and changes the inclination of man's heart by providing a regenerating New Spiritual Birth (Regeneration), which includes Faith that enables the ability to repentance and Salvation in Christ.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is through Faith alone and not of works or anything that man can do to earn or gain rights to such salvation. Salvation and Eternal life are free gifts that cannot be earned by man through any works, deeds or activity. A Faith that does not manifest good works is evidence of a lack of saving Faith. The saving power of Christ is permanent, therefore salvation cannot be lost. All the glory for our salvation goes to God.

The Church

We believe in the universal church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members. We believe in the local church, consisting of a company of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized on a credible profession of faith, and associated for worship, work, and fellowship. We believe that God has laid upon the members of the local church the primary task of giving the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world.

Christian Conduct

We believe that Christians should live for the glory of God and the well-being of others; that their conduct should reflect holiness and loyalty to Christ, but they should not confess to being sinless, blameless, or physically righteous while still in the flesh (human body). They must strive with all their might to live a sinless life and seek righteousness, knowing that they will not always succeed and may fall or stumble into sinful behavior. Until they are Glorified by the Holy Spirit at the end of this life, man cannot be completely free of all sin.

The Sacraments

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has committed two sacraments to the local church: baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water into the name of the triune God. We believe that the Lord’s Supper was instituted by Christ for commemoration of His death. We believe that these two sacraments should be observed and administered until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. They are outward manifestations of our faith in Christ but are not required for Salvation.

Religious Liberty

We believe that every human being has direct relations with God and is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith; that each church is independent and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority; that therefore, Church and State must be kept separate as having different functions, each fulfilling its duties free from dictation or patronage of the other.

Church Cooperation

We believe that local churches can best promote the cause of Jesus Christ by cooperating with one another in a denominational organization. Such an organization, whether a regional or district, exists and functions by the will of the churches. Cooperation in a conference is voluntary and may be terminated at any time. Churches may likewise cooperate with interdenominational fellowships on a voluntary basis.

The Return of Christ

We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal felicity of the justified righteous, and the endless suffering of the wicked due to the permanent separation from God.
